Center for Excitonics The Center for Excitonics is an MIT initiative to foster low-cost energy alternatives. The objectives for the logo were to create a logo that conveyed the type of research the Center does, make them look professional to aid in acquiring funding for the Center. The design itself is made up of 3D squares forming an E which represent the solar multi-colored glass panels the researchers in the Center are currently working on. Center for Excitonics logo was selected as a winner in the 2009 Graphic Design USA, American Graphic Design Awards |
